Fear thrives in silence and isolation. But we can defeat fear by standing together.

We Are California is launching the NO HATE, NO FEAR Campaign to stand with our immigrant neighbors. We are recruiting tens of thousands of Californians to help protect our communities by spreading know your rights information and sharing what neighbors can do if your loved ones are under attack in your neighborhood. Sign up today to join our list of community members who are down to:

  • Share KYR information in their communities
  • Host KYR Parties & Movie Screenings in their neighborhoods
  • Display images of hope in their Homes/Businesses/Communities
  • Take part in advocacy and action opportunities to strengthen immigrant protections and say no to hate!

Below, you'll find a few resources to help you start spreading power, not panic:

1. SPREAD POWER, NOT PANIC 🔊

If immigration agents show up in your neighborhood, you might feel driven to warn your community. It is important in these situations to lead with power, not panic. Remember:

  • You have the legal right to record, when it is safe to do so. Agents need a warrant to search your phone
  • Only share accurate, verified information (not rumors) and make sure to share with local rapid response networks.
  • Be a Supportive Ally: Amplify the voices of immigrants and stand up against misinformation.
  • practice SALUTE.

Example: 2 ICE Agents in an SUV are harassing day laborers near the Home Depot on W 17th St at 3:00pm with rifles and radios.
